My Case Study On Preventing Aging
Well, if I’m to believe the compliments I get,for someone who would be 34 in a few days , people often think I’m in my early 20s .(I see you trying to look at my pic .Lol..)
While it may be credited to genetics , the fact that I started caring for my skin in my early twenties and being a sucker for DIY home skin care, I realised I look younger when i’m stress-free.
Let me explain…
It’s very hard to be stress-free when you have real life situations to worry about but mentally shutting out the stress is possible.
Last year, I had a lot to worry about and it took a toll on my skin , despite my skin care routine.
When I bounced back mentally , I looked way younger and would get those shocking reactions when I mentioned my age.
You see, once you are able to mentally turn off the stress-switch, stop worrying about those wrinkles , the baby, your unachieved goals, you’ll automatically take years off your age .

And I’m assuming you already know your diet matters. And i’m not talking about strict diets and all those rules about what to eat and what not .
I mean , making sure you have fruits , a couple of times a week or every day as the case may be.

Eating your veggies or incorporating them into your meal.(Wouldn’t hurt to be Vegan though.That’s my future goal .)

Let honey be your best friend .It has amazing anti-aging properties .I like to slather it on when I’m home for 30 minutes .Rinse off and voila!Glow baby .
Potatoes
Potatoes have amazing anti-aging properties and there are especially good for dark circles and puffy eyes .
Slice some potatoes and rub the juice over your face.Wash after 20 minutes.
Bananas
Bananas work like a charm to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines .When next you’re at the food market, get your self some bananas. Mash it and slather on your face while you do your house chores .
Wash after 20–30 minutes and you’ll be amazed at how smooth your face is.
*IMPORTANT TIP :Don’t Ignore Your Hands
Do not forget your neck and hands .
If Shakira said the hips don’t lie, trust me, when it comes the aging , the hands don’t lie.
The first signs of aging are visible on the hands and the neck. .
These hands do a lot of work, lifting , typing , cooking, washing, they sure deserve extra care too.
It is very easy to neglect the hands and concentrate on the face .
I always have a jar of coconut oil or natural shea butter by my bed side or in my handbag .
In fact ,it is a habit for me to slather on either of these over 10 times a day .
